Job description
U.sBank is seeking an information security specialist with demonstrated competence and visionary experience to contribute toward the success of our initiativesThis role will report into the enterprise key management organization with a primary focus on the key custodian roleThe key custodian acts as a technically skilled central governance and oversight authority for cryptographic key management activities, as well as supporting global team effortsKey responsibilities encompass maintaining security of cryptographic keys and security systems at all points in their lifecycle and project management of projectsThe key custodian will ensure company and industry compliance with all their respective responsibilities for cryptographic key managementThis role ensures that tasks involving key management life cycle events are closely monitored and documented in accordance with elavon, u.sBank, and industry regulations.
This role provides technical support to clients, management, security administrators and network operations involving key managementReviews, develops, tests, and implements security plans, products and control techniquesDocuments security policies and proceduresProvides implementation support for risk assessment and data security procedures and productsEvaluates new and proposed security technologies.
Basic qualifications
Bachelor`s degree or equivalent work experience
· detailed project management skills
· advanced understanding of microsoft offices tools
· ability to communicate clearly; orally and written, with all levels of staff and management on the topic of cryptographic key management
· technical aptitude on pc operations, payment terminals, atms, host to host networking, cloud computing
· experience with hsms (hardware security module), aws, gcp, azure and salesforce a plus
· excellent organizational skills
· working knowledge of payments and banking industry regulatory requirements
· basic understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography and their specific key management practices a plus.
