Ukg is seeking a software quality assurance engineer to help our team define test strategies, develop and execute automated/manual test scripts, and help ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality product releasesA successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key characteristics:

Participate in the quality effort of one or more teams and drive the quality processes required for successful product delivery
Implement successful test strategies resulting in efficient test development and execution models
Decompose requirements and user scenarios into test scenarios and test cases
Identify test data requirements and generate data sets for testing
Work with development teams to instrument code for manual and/or automated testing
Coordinate with teams to eliminate redundancy, ensuring high coverage with optimal effort
Execute tests, interpret results, and communicate regularly, resulting in quick solutions to any quality concerns
Maintain traceability matrix using test management tools
Qualifications
3+ years experience writing automated tests using c# or automated testing tool (selenium, testcomplete)
Demonstrated experience writing simple functional test cases
Demonstrated experience executing test plans and reports
Demonstrated experience interpreting business requirements and designing and executing tests directly related to those requirements
Demonstrated experience executing different software development testing methodologies (performance, white and black box testing)
Demonstrated experience with the development and execution of acceptance criteria at both a functional and feature level
Demonstrated experience successfully documenting test efforts and communicating results to both a technical and non-technical audience
Prior experience with a ci system (teamcity, jenkins, etc.)
Computer science/business undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Experience with event-driven architecture and testing patterns
Ability to write sql/nosql queries
Experience with agile/lean development methodologies such as kanban or scrum
Experience testing cloud-native applications with platform-as-a-service (paas) solutions
Experience with object-oriented programming principles
Quality assurance certifications are a plus
