How you will spend your days as a yard/warehouse associate:
Assist office personnel with receiving building materials and sort material into designated areasMaintain cleanliness of yardAssist with other duties as needed to help with yard operations.
Using forklift, unload trucks/railcars that come in and place in designated areas.
Restock items that are returned.
Keep warehouse area neat and orderly to avoid accidentsThis includes sweeping, picking up banding material, trash, etc.
Maintain a safe work areaReport equipment/vehicle issues to manager for repairs,
Yard cleanupIncludes sweeping, picking up banding material, trash pick-up, walking the fence line for debris, etcWeekly or as determined by manager,
Forklift certified or have the ability to be certified after training period.
