The growth marketing manager will play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth trajectory, by owning and scaling multiple marketing and growth channels while understanding the quickly evolving landscapeYou will help evaluate, strategize and creatively launch new channels to drive continued growth for the businessYou are a passionate growth hacker who is driven, self-motivated, and can operate autonomously in a fast-paced environmentYou have a jack-of-all-trades skillset with particular strengths in analysis and detailsYou are just as comfortable interacting with people as you are digging into data sets, and will use a variety of metrics and software tools to accomplish these objectives.
How you’ll lead
Own strategy, optimization, and day-to-day management of our referral program, email marketing and acquisition, and affiliate marketing.
Report directly to the head of growth with a great level of autonomy in owning marketing and growth channels and with opportunity to be a core part in the development of the team through rounds of funding.
Enable emerging business models from a marketing/growth perspective by partnering with relevant program managers.
Learn and innovate well as privacy standards change rapidly.
Maintain a regular cadence of detailed performance reporting, analysis and measurement — highlighting successes, learnings, opportunities and trends.
On occasion, take a leading role on promotional campaigns.
Own key aspects of unagi’s long-term growth marketing strategy, while contributing to our holistic growth vision.
What you bring
1-3 years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree or exceptional experience driving company growth.
Strong past experience in email marketing or at least very strong demonstrated aptitude and desire to grow and learn quickly.
Iterative, data-driven mindsetAbility to contrive and execute upon tests.
Ability to manage multiple priorities at both the strategic and tactical levels using problem-solving skills, a strategic mindset, and business acumen.
Detail-oriented while managing triggers/flows, integrations, and data properties.
Comfortable owning digital channels and hitting aggressive growth goals
Strong marketing intuition, inquisitive thinker and positive attitude towards solving problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for excellence
