The fleet operations specialist this position is a versatile employee supporting multiple departments within the fleet repair groupDaily responsibilities may shift based on the demands of the teamKey responsibilities:
Invoicing and reconciliation of lessee responsible items.
Ownership of month-end shop accrual statements.
Process and code intracompany invoices.
Prepare financial statements for sales regions.
Support pre-audit and processing of railroad damage repair invoices.
Support review and coding of contract shop invoices for payment.
Act as administrator for a third-party system.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Essential skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or associates degree or high school diploma and equivalent work experience.
Self-directed individual contributor with strong completion skills in a time sensitive environment.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Flexible, adaptable to change and learning new skills.
High proficiency with microsoft office software (word, excel, powerpoint).
Demonstrate clear and professional written/verbal communication skills.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing timely, related results as needed.
Other desired skills and qualifications:
Degree in finance, business or similar.
Railcar leasing, railcar repair, or railroad industry experience.
