As a member of the chart review records team for risk quality network solutions within optum business operations, you will be part of unitedhealth group`s mission of helping people live healthier livesThe crr team supports clients to ensure accurate and complete data submissions to the centers for medicare/medicaid servicesAs a business analyst consultant on this elite team, you will be empowered to impact the health care system through the analysis and interpretation of data and presenting recommendations for business solutionsThis role has a data analytic emphasis but will also interact with internal business partners and external clientsThis is a data focused position that develops information tracking systems, preparing and displaying data concerning operations, improvement initiatives, and system changesYou will serve as the technical, programming liaison; participate in creating dashboards, executing ad hoc and scheduled reports as requiredThis senior analyst role has a desired programming emphasis with a focus on automation and scheduling, and development of extensive quality control checksYou will also work with other optum business operations groups to ensure accurate data execution.

Primary responsibilities:
Analyze, review, forecast and trend complex data
Present recommended process improvement solutions through research and analysis of data and implement when appropriate
Define, coordinate, and implement new reporting as requested by optum business operations leadership
Monitor and manage supplemental encounter data processing for submission to clients for medicare
Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
Support short- and long-term operational business processes through data management analysis
Present recommended process improvement solutions through research and analysis of data and implement when appropriate

Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent work experience
High level of proficiency with sql queries - sql server, oracle, bdpaas
Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures, views and stored procedures
High level of proficiency with pc - based software programs (excel, word, visio, outlook)
Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
Ability to research conflicting and/or inaccurate data and determine root cause
Preferred qualification:
Experience with encounter data submissions
Experience with talend, informatica or other etl tool
Experience with jenkins, s3, rundeck or other job scheduling utility
Working knowledge of cms encounter submissions
