Real appeal is a year-long digital weight loss program that combines group coaching, one-on-one coaching, daily and weekly content and challenges, messaging, and more to help encourage, and guide members to lasting lifestyle modification through evidence-based, behavior change products.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the u.sAs you take on some tough challenges.
Primary responsibilities:
Build rapport with members and focus on establishing personal wellness plans by facilitating weekly group sessions that follow the real appeal program which covers nutrition, fitness, and other behaviors that impact health
Conduct on-camera 1-on-1 sessions and message members as needed through our integrated online platform to provide support outside of the live group sessions
Encourage behavior change and goal-setting/action-planning through our digital platform in every member interaction (classes, 1-on-1 sessions, and messaging) using our coaching model
Provide customer service for members to support the understanding and execution of the real appeal program
Work schedule
Monday-thursday - 1:30 pm -10:00 pm ct
Friday - one of the following:
6:30am-3:00pm ct
9:30am-6:00pm ct

Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the health, wellness, or behavior change discipline or equivalent experience in health coaching
Experience working with software programs/online platforms (i.eMicrosoft office suite, salesforce, etc.)
Have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Live in a location that can receive a unitedhealth group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Be able to work a schedule of monday-thursday, 1:30pm-10:00pm and friday, 9:30am-6:00pm all central time zone hours, regardless of where you are located
Preferred qualifications:
Completed an nb-hwc approved coaching training curriculum, + 500-1,000 coaching hours or coaching certification from nb-hwc
2+ years of experience helping individuals change health behaviors
2+ years of experience listening, communicating (written and verbally) with clients
Experience doing on-camera virtual presentations
