Primary responsibilities:
Build and manage high-performing teams with researchers of different disciplines
Independently manage day-to-day activities and complex situationsIdentify problems and solutions around escalations
Set clear expectations and goals for direct reports and collective team while holding individuals and team accountable for success
Build and develop a research toolkit that extends across all levels of complexity
Successfully partner with other research teams across the organization
Build solid relationships with other research teams to ensure a cohesive and cross-functional vision for research
Become a trusted, strategic partner to product stakeholders by communicating and demonstrating the value of user research, and by delivering insights that lead to demonstrable business value
Mentor other team members (research or cross functional) at multiple levels
Lead planning, executing, and analyzing qual, quant and mixed method studies, which may include interviews, surveys, ideation sessions, ethnographic field research, usability evaluation, statistical modeling, and diary studies
Tell stories when delivering insights about people and behavior - verbally and visually - in a way that generates empathy, emotion, and engagement from the design team as well as engineering, product management, marketing, and others

Required qualifications:
Ba/bs degree in human-computer interaction, human factors, psychology, computer science, anthropology, communications, information science, sociology, or equivalent practical experience
6+ years of professional experience conducting user research
Experience performing and/or consuming user research, nps and voice of the customer data
Experience and proven ability to work across a matrixed multi-tiered organization and deliver the best possible outcomes
