Your role as the quality engineer is to oversee quality assurance across an emerging technology product releaseYou will be helping to ensure quality methodologies being utilized are achieving the desired quality levels for the productYour will be responsible for identifying gaps then recommending and implementing the necessary controls to resolve the gapsYou will communicate with various peers and leaders regarding testing and quality status.

Primary responsibilities:
Ability to lead the testing activities like test planning and test execution
Hands on experience with writing the test cases, test scenarios and execution
Ability to write sql queries required for testing
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work in an agile environment
Ability to work with business, dev, sa, cross app and all other teams
Ability to work in onshore offshore model
Ability to work in health care domain

Required qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field
3+ years of hands-on qa experience with all testing activities including manual and db testing
3+ years of experience with test planning, functional testing, database testing, system integration, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance and performance testing within large scale initiatives that involve significant technology / systems development, operations, and deployment
2+ years of qa experience working with business, cross app, onshore/offshore team coordination
2+ years of experience with quality management tools like qc/alm, jira
2+ years of experience working with sql database
1+ years of experience working in agile methodology
Preferred qualifications:
Solid communication (written, verbal and presentation) and organizational skills in deadline driven environment
Experience leading projects in an onshore/offshore model
Experience working in healthcare industry
Experience working on testing mainframe driven applications, pick programming and other desktop applications
Solid understanding of sdlc and stlc process
