We are looking for an entry level dba to join our teamIn this exciting opportunity, you will be an integral part of a team that is passionate about providing corporate actions solutions and innovative ideasYou will be part of a team that is responsible for managing the corporate sql server environments.
You`ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the u.sAs you take on some tough challenges.
Primary responsibilities:
Installing and configuring new instances of sql server
Creating and testing upgrade scripts
Participating in application upgrades
Building and implementing hotfix packages
Developing and maintain maintenance tasks
Troubleshooting system issues including running and evaluating sql traces
Providing on call support

Required qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related fieldA combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Basic understanding of sql server and its associated concepts
Basic understanding of relational database concepts
Basic understanding of t-sql
Analytical skills including ability to isolate and resolve issues
Interest in dba best practices and methodologies
Ability to work within a team environment
