Responsible for supporting optum care services (housecalls and optum at home) operating frameworkAbility to ensure timely analytical content is created, carefully maintained, and on-going process improvement efforts are executed effectively for the clinical teams within optum care services.

Primary responsibilities:
Assessing business process risk and establishing monitoring and control measures
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Develop and support forecasting for work force and resource utilization
Work with internal and external department customers to define and document requirements to enrich reporting capabilities
Serve as a resource to operations staff, answering questions and assisting with department informatics, reporting, and trending, and workflow/operational issues
Create new analytical content, enhance existing analytics, and improve or replace ineffective tools or processes
Partner with other operations and analytics stakeholders to support data linkage, effective data strategy, and user confidence in the validity, integrity, and actionability of the data
Collaborate with business intelligence architects and domain analysts to maximize the effectiveness of business intelligence tools, dashboards, and other dynamic reporting capabilities
Assist clinical leadership and other related department team members in the implementation of programs or projects, including planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and projects, coordinating project activities, collaborating with project team members, and monitoring progress toward achievement and other projects as assigned
Escalate issues to department leadership for support and guidance
Identify issues and offers / drives solutions through critical thinking

Required qualifications:
1+ years of experience with data analysis and modeling, process monitoring, and forecasting
Experience supporting, managing, and driving multiple client initiatives or projects
Working knowledge of sql
Intermediate to advanced microsoft visio and excel proficiency (i.e., pivot tables, vlookups, macros)
Soft skills:
Demonstrates energy for what needs to be done and for overcoming challenges
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a matrix environment, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Is resourceful and creative in solving problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes
Ability to influence course of action with diplomacy and tact when others are directly accountable for outcomes
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, interface and present to leadership effectively
Ability to build trust and form effective relationships with stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience in healthcare/clinical environments
Experience with working on a virtual team
Experience with creating reports and dashboard for presentation
Functional understanding of sql- ability to write, edit, and run queries
Familiarity with medicare part c and d star measures (hedis, cahps)
