This position will support the behavioral health provider data operations team by leading report development, database administration, and projects to improve data usage and storageThe position will collaborate with operations experts to define technical needs, and then produce the required outcome (reports and data analysis, database updates, simple user tools, improvements for existing coding, etc)Work will be heavily dependent on legacy, widely distributed applications (microsoft access, excel, sql server, etc) but also will be geared toward adopting new technology options.

Required qualifications:
2+ years of experience working directly with healthcare data
Advanced expertise with microsoft access
Advanced expertise with sql
Ability to take ambiguous or high-level information, research business needs, and transform it into a product that meets user needs
Expertise with a wide variety of data and reporting sources
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with optum behavioral health
Experience with table structures in facets
Experience with table structures in ndb / uhn reporting
Experience with galaxy
Experience with data lake
Experience in an operational role at uhg
