Full job description
We are looking for a talented video editor to finish projects that have been shotMost of the edits currently will be commercial, social videos, or corporateUltimately, as a film and video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.
Responsibilities
Creating content and posting onto social media
Want someone that returns edits in a timely manner.
Editing content on a weekly basis (interviews, packages, social content)
Strong foundational knowledge of editing techniques and approaches
Excellent, honest, and transparent communication skills
Proven work experience and understanding of creative processes and video production workflow
Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Willingness to learn, film, and be on set (not required)
Skills
Proven work experience as a video editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.gAvid media composer, premiere, after effects)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
Creative mind and storytelling skills
A can-do attitude
Experience
Adobe premiere: 2 years

Adobe after effects: 2 years (preferred)
