What type of work will you be doing? what assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing regularly?
The objectives over the next 6-12 months for this role include:
Establish the system architecture standards that will enable distributed collaboration within our physical and virtual offices.
Develop a global standard operating procedure for audiovisual solution development, validation, deployment, and product lifecycle management.
Define and develop workflows for on-demand media and live broadcasts leveraging our content distribution platforms.
Establish a centralized architecture and approach for enabling self-service av products for our colleagues leveraging our saas production tools.
Developing, deploying, and maintain audio visual (or it) cloud infrastructure.
Working on multiple critical projects, all while providing a creative vision for enabling the future of distributed work.
The overall day to day responsibilities for this role will include:
Define, architect (design), and implement enterprise communication and meeting solutions covering voice, video, and web-conferencing to support a distributed workforce.
Translate business needs into functional and practical system designs
Write system specifications and statements of work, including rfps/rfqs.
Draft and supervise the drafting of solutions within the global av services teamProvide final approval on solution concepts.
Develop, document, and maintain reference architecture and standard operating procedures.
Ensure that the system and product evaluation proof of concept process is maintained, resulting in documented testing, training, and validation before placing solutions into production
Evaluate products and solutions to stay current on emerging technology and best practices within the industry.
Provide mentorship and guidance for engineering teams to address ongoing business demands.
