Vmware is looking for a senior technical product manager to join our nsx product management teamYou will be working on vmware’s flagship networking and security product – vmware nsx.
This team is a fast-paced start-up environment where the successful candidate will wear many hats and their work will have a real impact on vmware’s network virtualization future.

Responsibilities
Design and architect end to end validated security solutions which represent a real-world customer implementation
Be the subject matter expert for nsx security and threat intelligence solutions
Build validated solutions, as needed design and architect the solution stack and configure equipment to kick the project off.
Function as the “the technical product expert” with customer for the vmware nsx product line (http://blogs.vmware.com/vmware/2013/03/vmware-nsx-network-virtualization.html)
Work closely with the engineering team providing input on & formal review of product functional specifications prior to development, provide feedback on early engineer releases and feature implementations
Partner with customer account teams to facilitate successful customer proof of concept deployments
Partner with the product management to successfully guide product design, implementation, release, testing, and maintenance.
Professional qualifications
At least 4+ years experience in technical product marketing, technical marketing, and/or systems engineering or experience working in a customer environment as an architect/technical solutions engineer
Demonstrate experience in working across networking, virtualization and security e to build end to end solutions, ability to build collateral
Deep technical depth and hands-on expertise in 2 or more of the following: data center security, threat intelligence, cybersecurity, software virtualization
Experience in working on networking security demonstrated experience in product integration
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven track record of developing & delivering formal and informal training material and technical presentations aimed at educating customers, partners or sales teams personal qualifications:
Self-starter with the ability to work across all functions of the company.
Ability to get things done; must be resourceful, proactive and aggressive
Quality, out-of-the box thinker that is open-minded, creative, intelligent, and self-confident
Highly entrepreneurial with a strong passion, urgency, energy, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to succeed and win
