Design solutions to solve moderately complex business problems, considering operational and functional aspects of the solution, demonstrating an understanding of the business function.
Research and permanently resolve system problems and incidents.
Mentor apprentice and associate software engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunitiesJob specifications typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of programming experience.
Proficient programming experience in one or more current programming languages.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong technical knowledge of all phases of application development including analysis and programming.
Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job dutiesPreferred skills experience in web applications, web services, and console application development using .net, mvc, c#, html, rest, javascript, bootstrap, css
Familiarity with tsql/sql and ability to fully understand coding solutions that talk to mssql server and db2 type databases
Ability to write clean, scalable code using agreed-upon standards and tools
Expertise with html technologies including html, css and ajax and associated frameworks
Ability to support a variety of proprietary enterprise applications
Ability to integrate, monitor and maintain existing data storage sweeps and solutions
Strong attention to detail
Outstanding analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Experience upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems
Ability to provide technical support for internal applications and integrations (sharepoint, servicenow, salesforce, etc.)
Knowledge of mcse a plus to understand administering file system permissions and ensuring solutions are installed securely and that user accounts are set up correctly
Knowledge and understanding of how to create a database, stored procedures and how to use the maintenance features of mssql
Experience managing iis and ensuring yearly security certificates are managed on time
Ability to provide innovative approaches that yield simple, practical solutions
Demonstrated experience working with confidential, sensitive and secure information
Proficiency with office, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications
Ability to cope under high demand, handle multiple priorities, projects and tasks and meet tight deadlines experience in web applications, web services, and console application development using .net, mvc, c#, html, rest, javascript, bootstrap, css
