Vsolvit is searching for a lead technical recruiter who will work directly with hiring managers, hr, and leadership to source, screen and provide a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical rolesThe lead technical recruiter will network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionalsThe lead technical recruiter will manage a team to build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our position requirements.
As with any position, additional expectations existSome of these include but are not limited to: ability to work independently, adhering to typical working hours, meeting deadlines, following customer company and policies as outlined by the employee handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor, and staying focused on the assigned tasks.
Role and responsibilities:
Develop and implement recruiting strategies to source the best talent
Manage the staff to provide recruiting solutions to complex staffing issues
Source, review and assess resumes and interview applications
Conduct background check of the prospective candidates
Refer candidates to the client-organizations for possible recruitment
Write, edit and review job descriptions for various job positions
Consult and interact with hiring managers on hiring strategies
Prepare and process compensation processes and issues
Build world-class customer relations with client-organizations
Implement best practices in hiring and recruiting
Establish and maintain a metrics system to track recruiting process health
Support company proposal effort by conducting advanced recruiting for various business development efforts
Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of technical recruiting experience
5+ years’ experience using word, excel, powerpoint
5+ years’ experience working with an ats
Understanding of compliance requirements for federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
Knowledgeable on multistate process, regulations, and procedures
Experience or familiarity with military terminology
United states citizenship required
Preferred qualifications
Workgroup or higher leadership experience
Experience using adobe, gmail, and google applications
Experience working with paychex, mystaffingpro, and hireright
Active dod secret security clearance
