About the role*
The transportation and logistics team is responsible for connecting and managing veho’s network across the countryWe work closely with our clients and veho ground operations, overseeing all package movement up until the final mile delivery to customers’ homes.
The transportation asset manager will play a key role in the expansion of the transportation & logistics organization, as well as veho’s delivery coverage in generalIn this position, you’ll be tasked with building and managing our fleet of vehicles and equipment, as well as crafting and implementing the processes for driver and vehicle safety and compliance from the ground up.

Required qualifications*
3+ years of experience in the logistics/transportation industry or equivalent experience
Ability to manipulate and analyze data in google sheets/ excel
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable shifting priorities based on new insights and business needs
Is detail-oriented and an excellent verbal and written communicator
Is excited to wear whatever hat is needed to solve a problem
Loves to explore and experiment to find the best solutions
Is a self-starter and has a desire to learn and grow
Collaborates effectively with other teams and functions
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of compliance matters (e.gInsurance policies, dot regulations, driver safety regulations, weight limits per vehicle type and license class, etc)
Experience managing drivers/fleet
Contract negotiation and sourcing experience
Final mile e-commerce delivery experience
