Veho uses a network of independent contractor drivers to complete last-mile package deliveries to customersThe driver operations team is responsible for growing this network of drivers and improving their experience on the platformWe are a highly capable, driver-first, diverse team, and we’re looking for strong candidates to help achieve our ambitious goals.
As a manager on the driver operations team, you will lead the strategy and execution of a subset of our team’s scopeYou’ll need to be comfortable in a range of roles, from implementing processes and conducting analyses, to prioritizing initiatives and defining longer-term strategiesYou will also partner with the head of driver operations to guide overall team priorities and strategyOur company is growing fast, and there will be opportunities to build and lead a team to help achieve your goals.
Drivers are at the core of what we do, so you’ll spend a lot of time listening to drivers and learning about their experience on vehoOur team is data and insights-driven, so you’ll need to be comfortable combining both qualitative and quantitative insights to make decisions.

A great candidate:
Has a minimum of 4 years of experience that includes project management, analytics, problem-solving
Has experience as a people manager, or has demonstrated capabilities to step into this role successfully
Can lead execution of complex initiatives and processes using project management best practices
Is comfortable leading a mix of tactical execution and high-level strategic thinking
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable shifting priorities based on new insights and business needs
Can think critically about problems and priorities, and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo
Is excited about digging deep into data for new insights
Familiarity or proficiency with sql
Can effectively collaborate with other teams across the organization
Is detailed-oriented, and an excellent verbal and written communicator
Your responsibilities may include:
Build an operating model for a subset of the team to partner with regional gms to address city-specific opportunities
Develop and implement a framework that allows us to track and report on city-level performance at scale
Lead experimentation to improve driver retention and engagement
Improve how we measure and react to driver marketplace health
