What is the position? we are currently looking for a mid- senior level test engineer to support one of our commercial engagementsThis project is with a telecom client going through a major digital transformation programThis involves designing future state business processes and systems, as well as retiring legacy applicationsVentera’s responsibilities are focused on business support functions including creation of epics, features, and user storiesThis person will be manually testing and validating the requirements.
This is starting as a 1 year contract opportunity and has the possibility of going long term/permanent; this position can be remote and will be supporting teams across various regionsWe are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in system-based testing.
4+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
1+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing.
Hands on, recent experience with javascript or java or python.
Experience building automation framework from scratch using java or python.
Hands on experience with rest api testing and familiar with api tools.
Experience working as a member of a team that has implemented automated testing.
Experience working closely with developers in an agile environment (preferred)
Experience with devops process and cloud infrastructure.
Ability to analyze business requirements quickly and identify all possible scenarios to be validated.
Expertise in documenting test plans and test cases
Proficient in writing sql queries and preparing test data is a must.
Knowledge of bug tracking tool jira.
Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience
Ability to work in the u.sWithout sponsorship is required.
