Description:
Vertexone is currently seeking junior software developers for its growing development teamThe junior developer`s role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and existing software applications in support of business requirementsThis includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applicationsThe junior developer will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications.
Provide computer science software development support using industry-standard software development practices and modern programming languages/operating systems
Participate in requirements definition, analysis, design, implementation, debugging, testing, and optimization of computer programs on workstations
Contribute to complete technical projects/organizational objectives on multidisciplinary teams
Assist in the design, implementation, and deployment of software systems using standard analysis, design, and programming techniques
Requirements:
1-3 years of python experience
1-3 years of mysql experience
Understanding of agile methodology
Understanding of source control (git)
Ability to change focus when necessary
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate effective analytical/problem-solving skills-ability to work with minimal guidance/competing priorities; provide innovative, creative solutions to tasks/problems
Experience with php is a plus
Experience with c# .net is a plus
