We are looking for a qa engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in austin, texas.
Technologies we use: scala, go, kubernetes, docker, s3, redis, kafka, mysql, grpc, prometheus, grafana, nginx, git, jenkins, presto
Your responsibilities:
Test, validate and try to break the products that the teams build
Write clear, maintainable and high-quality testing/integration scenarios
Provide risk analysis
Identify, improve and implement must-have test coverage scenarios
Lead and implement new test tooling
Redefine our deployment process
Re-architecture and optimize product improvements that support various business needs with quality in mind
Work independently and in the team
Grow yourself and others.
3+ years of experience in software development testing, preferably on backend
Knowledge of testing strategies, such as chaos monkey, and frameworks for backend applications and api testing
Experience with continuous integration systems (e.g, jenkins, circleci, prow, etc.)
Experience with modern testing methodologies including functional, non-functional, regression and acceptance testing in an agile environment
Comfortable with using git
Capacity to clearly communicate and lead solutions about complex problems, both technical and organizational
Self-motivated and self-managing
Experience with docker and k8s is a plus
Experience within the ad-tech industry is a plus.
