Vestwell`s north star is to be the engine behind a $30t industry, powering all payroll-deducted workplace savings programs for small-to-midsize businesses, such as 401(k), 403(b), ira, emergency savings accounts (esa), health savings accounts (hsa) , 529 college savings, and alike.

Who are we looking for?
Vestwell is looking for a senior pr & communications manager who can thrive in a fast-paced start-up environmentReporting to the vp - head of marketing, this position will play a vital role in the company`s growth by amplifying the company`s brand story both inside and outside the companyWe are looking for someone who thinks proactively, has top-notch project management skills and is a tremendous writer and storyteller.
What will you be doing?
Work directly with the head of marketing to build and execute comprehensive pr strategies and initiatives
Collaborate with key stakeholders inside and outside of vestwell, including senior executive, legal, product, and marketing teams, to strategically amplify corporate messaging
Actively identify and establish meaningful relationships and partnerships with press and influencers
Write and develop thoughtful pitches, press materials, and bylined articles
Coordinate pr agency relationships, providing ongoing guidance and alignment with the firm`s objectives to achieve key results
Requirements
The necessities
7+ years of pr experience in fin-tech, financial services, ria, or other related industry
Superior writing, presentation, and project management skills
Strong interpersonal/communication skills and a high level of strategic thinking
Ability to manage and/or collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups and brand partners
Experience with stakeholder management across different levels of an organization
Understanding of financial topics and technologies
The extras
Prior experience in any of the following: pr agencies; managing marketing events; marketing intangible products (e.gComputer software, investment banking, brokerage, healthcare, accounting, etc.)
Understanding of ria landscape and or other regulated industries
