The dispatcher / scheduler is helping support the ride free lafayette programThis position will perform a variety of customer service duties, including data entry, answering phones, receiving, and communicating information and performing other technical and administrative functions, as requiredThe primary goal of this role is to provide information in a timely and efficient manner.
Starting pay for the role is $17.00 per hour (additional 50 cents if bilingual- english/spanish).
Schedule: this position is fully remote working monday-friday; 3 pm – 8:00 pm
Qualifications for the dispatcher / scheduler:
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or ged
Positive customer relations skills, including good decision-making and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with employees and the general public
Knowledge of or ability to learn the lafayette area
Ability to work independently
Ability to multi-task
Competent computer skills
Bilingual (english/spanish) is strongly preferred
Must pass physical, random drug testing, and ongoing motor vehicle records checks
