Job responsibilities
As a senior mechanical engineer, in the multi-function solutions area, you will be joining a team of highly skilled engineers dedicated to developing cutting edge radar, communications, and sensors products.
In this role, your experience in physical design and packaging of electronics for severe environments will be valued as your become the go to person in leading the overall product mechanical design as well as performing detailed structural, thermal, and dynamic analysesYou will be empowered to make positive contributions and decisions in design, testing, and prototype fabricationYour people skills will come to play as you work closely with team mates, subcontractors, and our customers.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in mechanical design and packaging of electronics
Experience with 3d mechanical design tools
Experience in thermal analysis of electronic packaging design
Experience in finite element modeling techniques and software
Experience in packaging electronics for military products and environments
Bachelor`s degree in mechanical engineer
Us government positionUs citizenship required
Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferences
Experience with the following tools: solidworks, solidedge, creo, catia, ansys, nastran
Experience developing and fielding military products for ground, air, and sea environments
Clearance: secret or higher
