The opportunity
As an remote ux designer/researcher you will conduct user research and testing, develop wireframes and task flows based on user needs, and collaborate with designers and developers to create intuitive, user-friendly software.
You will provide support to the technology department by:
Creating products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users through the application of organizational development and behavioral science.
Designing of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability, and function
Assisting the business in the scoping and planning of upcoming initiatives and roadmap items as they pertain to ux and user process interaction
Participating in or leading in producing conceptual, solution, and component-level architectures and associated artifacts
Reviewing, advising, and providing feedback on architectures produced within and outside the team
Leading the end-to-end solution design and architecture for key company initiatives
Contributing to or leading definition of standards, guidance, and points-of-view that enable engineers and end users to thrive
Helping to develop new and revising governance processes to ensure alignment of a diverse set of technology projects with the enterprise’s stated vision
Identifying target user groups and carry out interviews or other types of inquiry to help understand user needs
Ensuring the creation and implementation of customized experiences for the digital user
Producing high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps
Providing guidance on the implementation of ux research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior
Maintaining a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends
Performing tests on user interface elements such as ctas, layouts, target links, landing pages and banners
Understanding product specifications and user psychology and predict what might work for both
Work schedule: monday – friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm (remote)

What we are looking for
5 years of professional ux design or research experience
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, industrial design, visual design or similar field
Someone with experience working on enterprise digital product development (applications and websites)
Someone with a strong understanding of interaction, responsive and service design, and usability best practices
Someone with a strong ability to lead experience design activities within both agile and waterfall environments
Ability to use standard office equipment; printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, and other applicable equipment as needed
