Orda is a data and analytics startup working to revolutionize market analysis and demand forecasting for the commercial real estate marketWe are building a data platform that will allow investors, developers, retailers, and other market participants to truly understand the drivers of metropolitan economies across the united states, allowing users to identify market pricing inefficiencies and to make the best possible investment decisions.
Orda will build upon a vast foundation of data to extract actionable and unique insights into all major metropolitan areas in the united states, allowing easy comparison of demand growth & risk factors across a myriad of geographies.

Job description
Ø the analyst will gather data and research on individual cities/metropolitan areas, and in the process become a true expert on a given area.
Ø in addition to gathering data, the analyst will assist in the construction of systems to standardize the process of data gathering, review, and analysis.
Ø opportunity to analyze the data sets & extract insights for client use.
Ø the position will provide a dynamic environment for candidates interested in data analytics, tech start ups and/or research careers or skill sets.

Responsibilities
Ø primary responsibility will be to gather & analyze specific market data to develop a proprietary database to evaluate and compare various cities across the us from a demand and jobs perspective, & develop & improve the processes associated with the data gathering.
Requirements
Ø full time
Ø self motivated & organized; ability to roll up sleeves and work independently
Ø prior experience with data research helpful but not required
Ø strong attention to detail
Ø good research skills with knowledge of excel & powerpoint
Ø coding or database skills helpful but not required
Ø nyc in office preferred, flexible for some remote working or wfh
Ø bachelors degree required
