Growing, fast-paced business that provides mechanical auto inspection reports to insurance companies needs a motivated, hard working inspection report writer with a can-do attitudeThis is an opportunity to apply your automotive knowledge in a comfortable office environment or at your home office.
Responsibilities will include:
Typing mechanical inspection reports with speed and accuracy using information provided either verbally or electronically by field inspectors
Reviewing contents of reports for completeness and mechanical accuracy
Communicating with field inspectors regarding their inspections
Communicating with insurance adjusters regarding the inspection reports
Anything else you can do to help make our organization successful
Qualified candidates will:
Have automotive experience and/or knowledge (ase certification a plus)
Have excellent typing abilities
Be comfortable working with computers and on the phone
Have strong communication skills
Have experience working in an office environment, preferably with a small business
Be professional, hard-working, punctual and easy to get along with
This is a full-time position that offers some flexibility in terms of shift times, including eveningsWe offer a friendly work environment and competitive benefits including paid time off, health insurance for employees and 401k with matchIn normal times, this is a position at our office; however, due to covid-19, most of our employees are working from home.
Depending on candidate’s experience, starting compensation will be $14.00 - $16.00/hourWriters are guaranteed 40 hours/week and are eligible for quarterly company bonuses and overtime if desired.
