The webstaurant store, a leader in supporting the food service industry for over two decades is looking for an experienced qa team lead to join our growing company.
A minium of 7 years of software quality assurance experience is required for our qa lead role.

As a qa team lead, you will be:
Acts as team representative in place of manager when needed
Acts as emergency backup for all primaries in their absence
Acts as first backup for team manager in their absence
Sme on wss processes
Able to conduct peer reviews for all team members
Capable of leading individual and group training efforts
Working on special projects for management
Takes phone screen interviews
Conducts the tech portion of senior level interviews
Has an overall vision of architecture
Ability to objectively give input into a peer`s performance
Ability to digest information and make concise decisions
Provide on-boarding training and guidance to new hires
Capable of championing qa process at an enterprise level
Respected and sought out by qa peers
Actively participates in employee reviews, interviews, team evaluations
Ability to manage, coordinate and take ownership of any difficult/critically urgent/high profile project with little to no guidance
We are looking for a driven, motivated candidate who must have:
Minimum 7 years’ experience in a qa role
Willingness to train/mentor new or junior team members
Ability to assess project risk and present documentation to the project / enterprise leadership
Ability to expand on usable business requirements (acceptance criteria)
Experience working in an agile / scrum environment
Ability to lead project teams and present documentation to the project / enterprise leadership
Ability to give reliable estimates based on experience, min/max, etc.
Strong sql knowledge and database knowledge
Flexibility to multitask and shift focus as needed
Ability to identify areas of process improvement and communicate it to management.
Ability to perform peer reviews to ensure test cases are up to current standards
Ability to form working relationships within the project teams
A good understanding of multiple software testing methodologies
Web and mobile testing experience
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work with a majority remote team
Solid knowledge of troubleshooting, diagnosing issues at a high level and basic computing logic (programming)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive can-do attitude
Proficiency designing, developing and maintaining test cases and test suites
Bonus points if the candidate also has:
Experience working in logistics
Tfs/vsts/ado experience
