What you`ll be doing:
Working side-by-side with the qa engineering team, helping to ensure the code quality of all the ntt product lines by performing manual and automated testing of web applications, rest api web servicesand backend data.
Participating in agile scrum planning sessions and ensure right test strategy/plan is developed , preparation of manual and automated scripts, support test execution , evaluation, and reporting.
Assisting in automation framework development and implementation, automation scripts integration with ci/cd pipeline, running and repairing automation and helping to build our ever-expanding suite of automation jobs
Learning new technologies in virtualization (docker, vagrant), in a continuous delivery environment
Performing functional ,integration, regression, security, and performance testing.
What we value:
5 plus year of experience in technical hands on qa role
Hands on knowledge of test life cycle (test planning, test scripts designing, test execution and test reporting)
Proficiency in preparing test plans, test cases and execute the tests , create test execution reports, and defect logs, and test summary report
Hands on working experience in agile model
Proficiency in functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing
Hands on experience in apis/web services testing
Experience in database testing and has ability to write and execute sql queries
Must have experience in creating automation frameworks and automation of test cases using selenium for web applications and postman for apis/webservices.
Experience with version control software (preferably git)
Working knowledge on azure devops and experience in ci/cd pipeline is a plus
Must have knowledge of defect management process and worked using one of defect management tool such as jira
Must have experience in usage of test management tools such as azure test plans, testlink.
Working experience in onsite/offshore model and ability to coordinate well with offshore and onsite
Experience in programming language such as c# (.net) , python is a plus
Experience with docker and ansible is a plus
Exposure to kubernetes, graphql, rest api’s, react is a plus
Must be a team player and possess a desire for building consensus
Ba/bs or relevant experience
