Summary
The program director technology solutions is responsible for implementing all programs and projects in a portfolio focused on cybersecurity, cloud, data center, technology operations, end user services and devopsThis program portfolio can be up to $50m and requires a holistic approach to program delivery.
How you will make an impact:
Establish and manage a lean governance workflow around the infrastructure and security portfolio, including new technology initiatives review and prioritization mechanism with a quarterly cadence.
This governance workflow needs to include sound decision-making processes around all above topics.
Drive collection of benefit realization plans for roadmap jobs to be done.
Align product portfolio roadmaps with the technology portfolio roadmaps through internal alignment across all relevant teamsIdentify and remove roadblocks as necessary.
Drive the successful delivery of the programs within the portfolioEstablish and maintain a cadence-based reporting mechanism.
Drive and manage transparency thru establishment of relevant dashboards and kpis for decision making a.oCost, usage, performance, scale, errors.
Work with the planning and delivery leadership team to establish an agile portfolio and program management organization.
Lead and manage a team of about 2-3 program managers/snr project managers.
Work with cio leadership and management to foster a strong delivery team and environment, set in agile values and principles.
We are looking for people who have:
Technology degree, business degree desired, bachelor’s degree.
Experience with organizations going through transformations, in a product technology industry.
10+ years as a program manager/director5+ years in an agile development role.
Relevant experience in portfolio focus areas as outlined in position summary.
Agile best practices; kanban, safe or scrum.
Proven ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
Strong technical skillsUnderstanding of technology and business needs and translate into business cases.
Ability to manage highly technical technology portfolio.
Ability to access and analyze technology financial metrics.
Ability to drive both definitional and implementation phases in a self-defined pace.
Independent way of working, prioritizing and delivering against a set timeline.
Be an inspirational leader on pmo best practices, based on agile/lean principles.
Proven ability of effectively communicate and resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Drives change and challenges status quo.
Ability to resolve conflict across teams
Superior presentation and communication skills
Able to think strategically and tactically to make program successful through consensus and team building skills
Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
Remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty.
Strong spoken andWritten english skills.
Ability to travel to wiley locations as needed.
