Qualifications
Jd from an accredited law school
Cpa or ba or bs degree in accounting preferred
Admitted to practice in new york
3+ years of defense/commercial litigation experience (experience with accounting practices, public accounting and/or cpa firms preferred)
Proficiency in microsoft office, caseware, pro systemsfx and various other accounting- based software
Knowledge of electronic digital documentation and e-discovery matters
Proficiency in all virtual conference software
Candidates may be asked to provide a sample of litigation written product during interview
Responsibilities:
Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims
Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
Regularly handle court appearances and conduct depositions
Communicate with clients and provide status reports
