01 the role get started in a rewarding career with world vision by joining the payroll department as a payroll administratorWe are seeking a motivated individual who has a knack for numbers, outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail and customer service skills in assisting employees with questions regarding payroll, leave amounts, tax forms and other compensation issues when askedIn this position you will work closely with the payroll manager in processing a multi-state biweekly payroll for 900+ employees ensuring that each staff member is paid accurate.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Keep christ central in individual and corporate lifeActively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate wv core values into decisions within scope of role.
Analyze, prepare and input payroll data to automated systemPrepare and review journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts and monthly bank statements.
Work with payroll service bureau and bank to coordinate the preparation and distribution of checks and ensure accuracy of tax report filing to appropriate tax agencies in all us office jurisdictions.
Produce and analyze payroll reports for management and outside audits as needed.
Coordinate efforts between payroll and human resources in order to ensure accurate employee data.
Develop a role appropriate understanding of the international world vision partnership and use this context to inform communications, actions, decisions, and solutions.
Resolve employee payroll questions.
Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activitiesReference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

Two-year technical or junior college degree or equivalent (four years) work experience.
In addition to education or educational equivalent, requires 2- 3 years of practical, specialized work experience in a payroll office performing payroll functions.
Experience with journal entries and reconciliations a plus.
Advanced skills using excel and microsoft office.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good time management and organizational skills.

Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately.
Understand end to end processing of payroll in addition to an understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
Process wage garnishments, terminations, new hires, status changes regarding pay.
Work collaboratively with human resources.
