Xl-lead consulting is a professional services company providing staffing and consulting services to fortune 500 companiesWe hire and staff the best!
We are looking for an entry to mid-level analytical chemist to be responsible for the writing of technical reports supporting chemical testing of medical devices on support of over 3 people.
This position is preferred to be on-site in rochester, ny, however for the right individual, remote is acceptable.
This position is for 6 months, with the likelihood extension beyond that.
Duties / responsibilities
Write technical reports, protocols and other technical documents to support ongoing projects.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the laboratory.
Ensure all work is performed and documented in accordance with existing company policies, procedures, current good manufacturing practices, and health and safety requirements.
Will work with a cross-functional teams of 3+ people and over 10+ projects.
Skills/qualifications
Ms or phd in chemistry or related field
Excellent writing skills
Knowledge of chemistry
Knowledge of various analytical techniques including chromatography, ftir, raman, optical microscopy, sem/eds and particulate analysis
Excellent team player with good organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
Experience in bio-medical research and development, and biocompatibility of medical devices a plus
Knowledge of iso 10993 standards a plus
