Role overview
The analyst will be responsible for the tactical execution of the data strategy and for preparing insightful analysis of the resultant dataThey will report to the senior manager, strategy, analytics, & insights.
Responsibilities
Ensure monthly reporting packages are prepared accurately and distributed and on-time.
Analyze results, trend lines, and findings to uncover underlying causal insightsHelp the team develop effective strategies based on the insights providedMonitor performance.
Ensure new insights are uncovered and communicated to all relevant personnel.
Ensure bi toolsets are accurate and available to all relevant stakeholders.
Develop new analytical capabilities and insights as new information is included in the databaseEnsure alignment with young innovations sales and marketing strategy.
Ensure data loads and etl (extract, transform, load) processes function seamlessly.
Travel periodically, as required, less than 10%.
Perform related duties as required by the job.
Qualifications
2 years of experience in an analytic role.
Bs in mathematics, statistics, marketing analytics, business, economics, or other quantitative field.
Advanced excel including pivot tables and complex formulas.
Basic knowledge of database architecture, structure, and data retrieval.
Ability to use data to tell an accurate story and drive business results.
Strong analytical skills to analyze data, generate insight, and provide actionable solutions to problems.
Proven ability to effectively build and manage relationships, interact at multiple levels of the organization, and across multiple functions.
Ability to investigate issues to root cause, understand and explain trends/shifts in data.
Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and time-manage with assistance from manager.
Experience with power bi and/or sql strongly preferred.
Knowledge of r and python a plus.
