Yubico is looking for a full-time product line managerYour job is to lead product management for the award-winning yubihsm 2 productToday, yubico products are used by tens of millions of users around the world and secure 9 out of the top 10 internet brandsBe part of a fast-paced and high-energy team and work with customers representing some of the world’s most sophisticated technology buyersYou will report directly to the chief product officer.
This role is located either in palo alto, ca; seattle, wa; or stockholm, sweden.
Tasks & responsibilities:
Primary responsibility for managing yubihsm 2 line of products
Manage and publish the roadmap for yubihsm 2
Lead industry certifications and validations of yubihsm 2
Meet with customers in the us and internationally to understand the need and opportunities for new hardware products and form factors
Gain deep market and technical knowledge of the hardware security module (hsm) market focused on specific competitors and their offerings, strategies, and pricing
Provide data-driven, impactful, and unbiased insights on yubico’s true competitive position on hsm
Partner with engineering, solutions, and marketing to launch new yubihsm 2 and new form factors
Provide product marketing with the materials for creating product collateral
Represent yubico in meetings with key customers
Help marketing with blogging, press, and related activities
As the organization grows, take on managerial responsibilities and build a team
Skills and experience:
5 to 7+ years of product management experience in a hardware company
Bachelor or ms in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience
Proven track record of growing the product lines
Experience with hardware manufacturing
Experience interacting with enterprise customers
Experience with agile development methodology and tools
Solid business acumen skills
Technical background with a good understanding of hardware security modules, identity management, and cryptography
Ability to keep up in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
Good presentation skills
Bonus qualifications:
Experience with iot hardware products
Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience in business development with partners
