Job description: zapproved is seeking a scrum master to join our forward-thinking engineering team in response to our continued rapid growthIn this role, you will lead, organize, and motivate our scrum team(s) to achieve a high level of sustainable performance in delivering quality software that supports our company goalsYou will serve as a bridge between the engineers, engineering managers, and product owners to optimize delivery and best practicesYou will also own cross-team coordination and drive towards stakeholders alignment at all levels of managementWe are seeking someone who can quickly switch projects even when the end goal is still unknown; our team moves (and succeeds or fails) fast!

What you’ll be doing: in this role, you’ll...
Coach, facilitate, and empower a self-organizing scrum team to align on sprint goals and ensure consistent and successful execution
Organize and facilitate scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, daily triage, and other agile activities
Work with multiple teams to remove impediments and manage dependencies
Track and report delivery progress and risks to teams and management
Drive continuous process improvement and implement best practices in order to increase customer satisfaction, quality, and business value
Achieve improved operational excellence in delivery and increased early warning of issues to allow enough time to resolve or mitigate
Work with our team of scrum masters to improve product & engineering as a whole
What you’ll need:
2+ years experience as a scrum master or leading cross-functional software development teams
3+ years professional experience driving projects or programs in a fast-paced environment with a strong preference for experience in a saas company
Proficient knowledge in scrum and agile development
Proven ability to build constructive relationships and drive towards alignment and clarity with a variety of stakeholders, such as executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and execute on multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with agile project management tools (jira, confluence, or similar)
What would be nice:
Scrum master certification (csm)
Knowledge of scaled agile frameworks
Practical understanding, experience, and knowledge of devops capabilities such as continuous integration and delivery (ci/cd), automated testing, etc.
