Position overview:
The director of it service operations will have responsibility to lead a team of managers responsible for end user computing, service desk, executive support, & itsm functions within infrastructure operationsWith a strong focus on collaboration this position will work to ensure the delivery of world class customer service & technical support to all areas of the organizationThis position will also lead the development and implementation of agile itsm methodologies across the infrastructure operations department and ensure proper tracking and reporting of all related metrics.
Key responsibilities:
Strong skills in emotional intelligence, verbal & written communication, and collaborative conflict resolution
Drive thought leadership within the infrastructure operations team
Lead coaching, mentoring, goal setting, and performance guidance to all reports & teams
Develop appropriate sla’s & benchmark cost, performance, and priorities within it
Lead and develop service-oriented teams
Help create, track, and adhere to budgets in respective areas
Develop and manage long-term strategy around end user computing hardware & software
Responsible for it service and operations management within servicenow & jira platforms
All it related onboarding and offboarding processes
Professional experience:
7 + years of progressively increasing responsibility in it, it operations, and other operational roles
5+ years developing & leading cross-functional teams
Education:
Bachelor’s degree is a science-oriented discipline
