What you will do
Work with cross-functional teams to collaborate and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Perform test planning, test development, validation, and improve test coverage using different testing techniques on assigned projects.
Perform issue reporting, research, analysis, confirmation, and support resolution on assigned projects.
Perform a variety of qa and test-related support tasks for the internal development team.
Maintain the quality of test activity and generate documentation and reports.
Organize the test process, result, and data to be scalable.
Investigate test techniques to develop improved test processes and the software.
Communicate risks to leads and managers as needed.
Basic qualifications
Good understanding of markup languages (html, xml, etc.).
Experience in node.js unit test, jest, jasmine, mocha, ava, testrail.
Solid experience in writing test strategies, test scripts, test cases, test plans, test procedures, and testing standards.
Experience in working with various phases of software development life cycle (sdlc), scrum, and agile methodologies.
Proficiency in functional testing tool quick test professional (qtp/uft) and the various frameworks in qtp/uft.
Experience in acceptance, functional, regression, integration, compatibility testing, and system testing.
Experience in uat, qa manual testing.
Experience in automated testing.
Experience in manual compatibility testing/defect tracking via jira of multiple platforms, hp/alm, etc.
Expertise in black box testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working on machine learning projects.
Extensive knowledge of front-end web testing and automation experience preferred.
Ability to facilitate interactions with product management and developers.
A bachelor`s degree in computer science.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in test engineering.
Background in qa/qc, business analysis, data analysis, or software development.
Strong skills for analyzing, debugging, and test solution development.
Familiarity with writing test programs in c, c++, python, etc.
Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and emphasis on quality.
