About goodr
We`re recklessly committed to fun…blah, blah, blah, sunglasses! this is our fun mantra and words we live byHere are some fun facts about our brand that might interest you:
Our values: we have two core values: fun & authenticity.
Fun = being sh*tty isn`t funAgreed? taking pride in your work, finding joy in being great, and celebrating wins… and lossesNow, that`s fun!
Authenticity = focusing on being authentic over being liked(next-level guru stuffCount it.)
Fun fact: we do not allow email to be sent internallyCarrier pigeons onlyJk, we use slack.
Autonomy: we practice autonomy, empowerment, and accountability so that every team member can be in control of their own life.
Remote working: we have a super-liberal remote working policyFor most roles, you are only required to be in the office 2 days per week (after your first 30 days).
Unlimited vacation: that was not a glitch in the matrix, we offer unlimited vacation.
Mastery: we encourage growth, grit, and greatness (and alliteration!); and expect you to take pride in your work.
Growth: we provide continuous personal development because we want you to grow and do your best workWe have a green thumb, but...for people.
Feedback: we value people who give and receive feedback with grace`nuff said.
Fun fact: every quarter we have a two-day, all-employee summit that ends with a party! we call it goodrstock because it`s as epic as a music festival that has only happened twice in history, but we do it quarterly.
Purpose: we want to leave the world better than we found it in ways that are unique to an individual`s personal journeyBut, what does that even mean??? it means:
Purpose projects: every team member gets to create their own project for making the world a better placeSome current projects include: finding ways to use recycled plastics, getting goodr to carbon-neutral, and bringing awareness to sexual assault.
Paid to volunteer: yes, you get paid to volunteer! our favorite paradox.
Fun fact: one purpose project resulted in a team member`s band doing an instagram live with sir elton john!
About the role
Responsibilities
We`re looking for someone to lead the charge as we take our b2b experience to the next level so we can keep thriving as a brandWe are committed to igniting our retail channels all over the world with the most riveting sunglass experience imaginable (and by imaginable, we mean big imagining!)The outside world calls this role marketing manager, but in goodr-speak you`ll be our b2b experience manager, because we are alllll about our brand experience!
Do you byoc (bring your own chair) to stores so you can sit for hours on end watching how shoppers interact with products? do you secretly wish you could trade places with mannequins because you know you could promote better than them? when you can`t sleep, do you see wild eye-catching displays jump over your bed instead of sheep? … are you shaking your head yes? read on!
You will be expected to::
Know our in-store opportunities better than the retailers themselves.
Paint the ideal picture of what the goodr experience will look like in our various types of retail partners… then make it happen.
Collaborate with our sales team to capture great ideas and bring them to life.
Ride side-saddle with our key account and specialty sales leads to support their sales and promotions, and co-create mind blowing ideas together.
Reimagine our pop (point of purchase) to create stronger in-store goodr branding and a more funr consumer experience.
Manage our pop inventory, track distribution, and implement a refresh strategy.
Shine a bright light on sales conversion roadblocks, under utilized pop, and anything that smells remotely mediocre (you do know the smell, right?)
Cherry pick the genius of our flagship store and use it to extend the goodr experience into our partners.
Be our ears on the street, sharing all gtks (good to knows) so we can all learn and grow.
Work in sync with our marketing calendar to drive promotional opportunities.
Clearly help us communicate our unique selling proposition (that was boring… how we crush the status quo) to our retailers until they say our four f`s (funFashionableFunctional`ffordable.) in their sleep.
The above is primarily for our domestic market but you will need to support our top global markets as well.
Develop a strategy for how we will execute all of the above.
