Job summary:
The podcast advertising operations associate will work to support all aspects of podcast advertising sales for the iheart podcast networkThe ad ops department works directly with account management, sales development, production, and marketing teams to create and implement digital advertising campaigns on iheartmedia podcast properties including stuff you should know, the breakfast club, and fake doctors, real friends with zach and donald.
Candidates should have a strong interest in digital media and digital advertisingThey should also be comfortable communicating daily with iheartmedia’s various advertisers and partners, many of whom are fortune 500 companies.
The ideal location for this candidate would be in new york city, however, we are open to highly qualified remote candidates as well.
Responsibilities:
Work effectively with sales departments and account management teams to ensure campaign success.
Implement, monitor, and optimize a multitude of digital advertising campaigns in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with account management to understand advertiser goals and translate those goals in proper campaign setup.
Communicate advertiser goals and ad-copy instructions with podcast talent.
Coordinate spot production for host-read advertisements including sharing deadlines, checking for accurate reads, and delivering client feedback when necessary.
Back-stopping senior ad-ops team members with ad-hoc requests as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, project management experience, and exude both creativity and analytical prowess.
2-4 years of work experience.
1-2 years of experience in a marketing, advertising or sales role (classwork accepted as a substitute).
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Desire to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Must be a team player who believes no task is too small.
Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in ms excel and comfortable working with formulas, pivot tables, templates.
Familiarity with digital media – audio is a big plus.
Experience in either ad-serving, reporting, billing or analytics platforms is desired but not required.
Ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize tasks to hit deadlines.
