Light is a team of creative technologists on a mission to redefine how automobiles perceive the environment using 3d passive opticsWe are a venture-backed, pre-launch startup headquartered in redwood city, caBecome a key member of our team as we radically enable automobiles to see like humans.
As an fpga design engineer (contractor), you will be responsible for the full design cycle of our image processing hardware blocksTasks will include microarchitecture, rtl design, verification, fpga synthesis and timing closure.
Qualifications
Bs or ms in electrical engineering with 5 or more years of experience
Excellent verilog, system verilog coding skills
Working experience with xilinx-based fpga platforms and tools highly desirable
Working experience with one or more of the following: arm, amba, dsp, pcie or ddr
Familiarity with emulation vs simulation issues, fpga implementation and optimization
Familiarity with c, c++, perl or python programming languages
Excellent communication skills
